Getting Acquainted-My Classroom

Click on the image above to link up!
I am linking up with Latoya: Flying into first grade!  This week: Favorite places in your room!

To see my whole room, go to My Classroom!  I have my room broken down to how I set it up and why.  Even have a picture of every center in the room.

My favorite three places in my room are:

1. My shelf I made for my room.  It is my small group area and it is cute.  It will even hold my technology eventually.

2. My weekly drawers are essential to my life, and they are cute with my new chevron theme!  I love being organized and I love feeling like I am or putting on the illusion that I am, even if sometimes I am flying by the seat of my pants. ;)

3. My birthday train!  It is so cute and I spent so much time on it!  It is not really to my theme, but it was so cute I had to have it!

  1. I love the weekly drawers! That is a super idea. I have folders right now, but they don't hold all of my materials for each day.

I am happy to be your newest follower :)

    1. It is nice to be able to put more in there than just paper. Yes, the copies can go in, but now so can art supplies, and other stuff that helps me keep the week running. If we dont get to it, I just move the stuff to the next drawer, and hit bump on my lesson plan (digital). Relieves a lot of stress--and clutter!

    1. Thank you! I definitely try! The drawers are nice, the copies for the day as well as materials I borrow from the art closet to go with it can all go in a drawer ( and then I can take that drawer out and bring it to my small group area). It really is nice!

    1. Thank you! I am actually teaching in my own classroom for the first time so I am still figuring things out, but when I figure things out I like to pass them on to help others! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting, I appreciate it!
